One of our founders is a native of the Friuli Venezia-Giulia region, the others are Americans who frequently visit Italy. The idea for Un Per Due stems from a discussion we had as we shared cocktails at an outdoor cafe with magnificent views at Castello di Spessa in Friuli. We began to wonder if and how we could share this experience with our friends and relatives back in America, or in fact with anyone and everyone who unfortunately can’t be where we were. Would it be possible to capture the essence in a cocktail similar to the one we were drinking and capture that moment?

Thus began a long and arduous labor of love to create Un Per Due. After more than two years of experimentation, breaking down the ingredients to their most basic elements and fine tuning each, then reassembling them in various combinations, testing, changing, never settling for simply ok, constantly innovating...we finally arrived at what we truly believe is the ultimate Un Per Due. A brand new and unique aperitivo. An ideal drink before a meal? Certainly, but so much more than that. Evocative of the exotic experience of being in an incredible location without the burden and expense of travel. Light but delightful. Casual but sophisticated Just the right amount of alcohol, yet intoxicating. Exhilarating with friends or alone, at an outdoor seaside cafe or around the kitchen table.Siting on a barstool or dancing in a crowd.
